2nd MIDAS Technical Workshop 2016 – a successful event

The 2nd MIDAS Techniktag on 1 December 2016 in Fulda was very well received. We look back on a successful event. National as well as international guests could be welcomed in the middle of Germany in Fulda. New products and up-to-date specialist information were presented. In personal talks, information could be exchanged with the manufacturers. Some participants had a very long journey. We were happy about guests from Serbia, Hungary, Belarus and even from India.

The workshops were offered in German and in English:

• MIDAS: heat pumps / WIFI applications
• Pahlén: jet swim units / heat exchangers
• ProMinent: private DIN standard
• Sugar Valley: Salt Electrolysis / Hydrolysis

We would like to say "Thank you" for the great interest and the encouragement. We would like to express our special thanks to all of our speakers and partners - the companies Atlantic Stone, Eichenwald, Elbtal, Griffon, Pahlén, ProMinent, Propulsion, Speck Pumpen and Sugar Valley.

After a busy day, a "Brazilian night" began. In addition to a typical traditional Rodizzio dinner - spit-roasted meats - all participants experienced an attractive evening with a show program. The MIDAS awards were awarded for the first time. The mood was omitted. The evening offered varied entertainment: thrilling show-ins of Brazilian samba dancers, colorful costumes, hot rhythms, and fierce south American temperament.

A raffle was organized for people in need of help and the proceeds were donated. Mrs Brigitte Umbach and Mrs Stephanie Günther (Hermann-Schafft-School) received a check of 2,500 Euros. The Hermann-Schafft-Schule is visited by hearing-impaired and visually impaired children.
